Medication Administration

This class is designed to train students to assist residents with self-administration of medications. It is taught by a Registered Nurse and includes information, as required by law and Agency for Persons with Disability (APD), to certify students to become a Medication Administration Provider. The class is 6 hours and includes state law and rule requirements, and procedures and techniques for assisting with self-administration of medications.  This class may also be used as 4 hours toward in-services as needed for CNA and HHA renewals.
