This is an advanced video-base, Instructor-led course builds on the foundation of BLS skills.  ACLS focuses on the importance of recognition and intervention acute dysrhythmia, acute coronary syndrome, stroke, cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest.  This course also takes healthcare provider drill to the next level, emphasizing on the importance of high-performance team dynamics and closed-loop communication

What’s Covered in this course?

  • Review of BLS Skills, chest compressions and the use of Bag-Valve-Mask (BVM)
  • Early recognition and management of airway management of cardiac and respiratory arrest.
  • Early recognition and management of pre-attack conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia or unstable arrhythmias
  • Airway management of Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) and stroke
  • The course is designed to give students the opportunity to practice and demonstrate proficiency in the following skills used in resuscitation:
    • Systematic approach
    • High-quality BLS

    • Defibrillation
  • Intravenous (IV)/intraosseous (IO) access (information only)
